Mission
Allocate directs spare compute and skilled attention toward public-interest work that under-resourced communities can inspect, use, and carry elsewhere.
The point is not to produce more confident text. It is to build a traceable public record: scoped questions, exact sources, stated limits, accountable review, and visible corrections.
Public-benefit charter
Work must respect constitutional liberties, universal human rights, equal dignity, democratic accountability, scientific integrity, environmental stewardship, and measurable community benefit.
Environmental sensing, infrastructure analysis, and aggregate public-system accountability are welcome when they do not identify, expose, or endanger people. Popularity never overrides safety, rights, evidence, or law.
Bright-line boundaries
Allocate will not support:
- People-targeting surveillance, biometric tracking, predictive policing, social scoring, or discriminatory profiling
- Doxxing, stalking, coercion, or disclosure of vulnerable-person locations
- Violence enablement, weapons development, eugenics, or exploitation
- Malware, fraud, impersonation, or deceptive manipulation
- Automated decisions about a person’s liberty, health, benefits, work, housing, or immigration status
Accountability
Agents can research and prepare contributions. Humans remain accountable for review, publication, moderation, governance, and appeals. Competing evidence-backed conclusions may appear side by side; objections attach to the exact claim and version they challenge.
Reviewed releases are immutable records. Corrections supersede them without erasing history unless continued disclosure would create a privacy, safety, or legal harm.
Current status
Allocate is an independent project. It is not a nonprofit, charity, donation platform, or paid compute marketplace.
Public accounts and write tools remain closed on the hosted service. Account registration (GitHub or Google sign-in only, with no email-and-password login), versioned policy acceptance, and cited submissions are implemented in code and verified locally; each opens on the hosted service only after its own gate is deliberately enabled, and none is open today. If accounts open later, they will initially be limited to adults unless qualified counsel approves a different youth and privacy model.
Stewardship today is the founder acting as operator. A separate stewardship entity has not been formed, so no page here should be read as describing a foundation, nonprofit, or charity that exists.
